How to Save Money on Eyewear

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine. My 35th birthday is coming up next month, and it’s been making me feel really old. I honestly just can’t believe I am halfway to 70 years old! This “big” birthday has really got me thinking about a lot of things. Whether or not I like it, I’m an adult now with a lot of responsibilities. I’ve spent the last 4 years being pregnant and raising my two children, so I’ve really kind of pushed my own health and well-being to the side. Us Moms have a tendency to take care of the rest of our family before we take care of ourselves, but it really is so important to make our {CONTINUE READING…}

Lemongrass, Rosemary & Lavender Sugar Scrub

THIS BLOG HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY NATURE’S BOUNTY® EARTHLY ELEMENTS™. All products mentioned in this blog post were provided to me for free by Nature’s Bounty® for review. Staying at home to care for my 1-year-old son, Logan, and my 3-year-old daughter, Kayleigh, is very rewarding, but often times I find myself feeling worn down and stressed out. Parenting is hard work! In addition to caring for my own two toddlers, I also babysit my 1-year-old and 4 month old nephews three afternoons per week. Taking care of four kids ages 3 and under is no joke! I honestly don’t know how parents who have more than two kids can even function at all. I feel like I never have {CONTINUE READING…}

I may earn a commission if you make a purchase after clicking a link in this post. Over the past few years, I have slowly been changing out the products I use for ones with natural ingredients. This transition started when I became pregnant with my daughter, Kayleigh. I knew I wanted to use natural products with my children, as I was concerned about ingredients in various household products and their effect on our well-being. Finding the right products for my family has taken a bit of trial and error, and I am not absolutely {CONTINUE READING…}

Create Healthy Habits in 30 Days with Nature Made®

This post was sponsored by Nature Made® as a part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. Having two kids in the last three years was quite a challenge for me. During both of my pregnancies, I really lost all motivation to stay fit and active, or to watch my diet. After my babies were born, my unhealthy habits grew even worse. I started eating unhealthy foods even more, as I was always busy taking care of my babies, and I didn’t feel like I had the time to eat healthy. Most of the time, I grabbed whatever I could find in the house – chips, cookies, etc. and ate it as quickly as I could, so I could get {CONTINUE READING…}

Green Tea & Peppermint Sea Salt Foot Scrub

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up very soon, and it also happens to be my sister’s birthday. I’m not sure what she has to say about it, but having a birthday on a holiday seems pretty fun to me. I have always had a blast celebrating her birthday over the years because I really love going all out with the St. Patrick’s Day theme. I loved to bake her a cake or cupcakes decorated with candy shamrocks, give her gifts that were all green in color, and for many years we would go to McDonald’s to fill our bellies up with a minty shamrock shake, too. What You Need to Know About Migraines

I created this post as part of a campaign by Teva Pharmaceuticals. I received an American Express gift card for participating. What You Need to Know About Migraines Have you ever had a migraine? If not, you may not really understand just how awful they can be. Migraines are not just a regular headache.  I have had regular headaches, and migraines are much, much worse. I have had several migraines throughout my lifetime, and they are absolutely debilitating. I started getting migraines when I was about 12 years old, which means I have suffered with them for over 20 years now. There are many things that can trigger a migraine – stress, medications, loud noises, bright or flashing lights, foods or beverages, missing {CONTINUE READING…}

5 Tips to Regain Self Confidence After Having a Baby

It’s the beginning of a new year, and something has been weighing heavily on my mind. It’s something that can make you feel great and want to get out of the house and do things, or it can make you want to stay at home and hide from the world every day. If you haven’t already guessed it, I’m talking about self confidence. Even though I’m entering my mid-30’s this year, and should have the whole self confidence thing down by now, I still struggle. After giving birth to my daughter in 2013, and my son in 2015, my self confidence was at an all time low. I gained weight with both of my pregnancies, and just let myself go in pretty {CONTINUE READING…}

The Turbo10 Meal Delivery Plan from Nutrisystem Makes it Easier to Lose Weight

This post is sponsored by the all-new Turbo10 program from Nutrisystem.As cliche as it may sound, I am making a New Year’s resolution to lose weight this year. After having my first baby in May, 2013, and then my second in March, 2015, my body looks and feels a lot different than it used to. I am 45 pounds heavier, I am fluffier in the belly, which is also now covered with stretch marks, and I have dimples on my thighs. I’m just not comfortable in my own skin anymore, and looking at it in the mirror just makes me cringe. Chasing after 2 small children all day every day is so exhausting, and I just feel like I never {CONTINUE READING…}
