I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Little Remedies. I received a product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Have you ever noticed, it seems like everyone wants to gift clothing at baby showers?  I get the appeal of gifting clothes.  I really do.  They are so incredibly cute and fun to shop for, and let’s face it, when you see that baby wearing the outfit you bought for them, your heart just melts.

While clothing is definitely a great gift idea for a baby shower, there are a lot of other gift ideas that are unique and sure to impress any Mom and the other baby shower guests too.

I remember one gift that really stood out to me at the baby shower I had when I was pregnant with my daughter, Kayleigh.  After opening bunches of clothes and more blankets than I could even keep track of, this one gift was like a breath of fresh air, something I had not yet thought of, and something that I was definitely going to need for my baby.  It was a gift basket containing a variety of Little Remedies® products, including their Gripe Water and Gas Drops.

I was so thrilled when I opened this gift.  I hadn’t even thought about the medicines I might need for my baby.  She wasn’t even born yet, so her being sick hadn’t crossed my mind at all.  I received this gift from one of my friends who was a fairly new Mom herself.  I felt like she had let me in on the biggest secret ever by giving me all of those Little Remedies® products.  She later told me that she had been using them with her son, and they worked wonders to help relieve his gas pains.

I didn’t have a baby shower when I was pregnant with my son, Logan.  I already had pretty much everything I needed on hand, from when I had Kayleigh, as I had purchased or asked for everything in gender neutral colors, so I could re-use them. I realized, however, that I needed to re-stock on my Little Remedies® products.  I ordered a really nice Little Remedies kit online, which included all of their most popular products, right in a handy little pouch.  It was one of the best things I could have bought.  I have already used the gas drops and gripe water with Logan, and they have helped to calm his belly.

Here are some additional tips to help calm a gassy baby’s tummy.

Little Remedies® products are made to support the health and well-being of infants and children.  They are made with the fewest and most natural ingredients without sacrificing the product’s effectiveness.  I try to keep things as natural as I can with my children, and feel safe using these products with them.  I love that their products do not contain any artificial flavors, artificial colors or alcohol and are created with the very specific needs of children in mind.

I loved the Little Remedies gift basket idea so much, that I now make my own to give away at baby showers I attend.  The Moms-to-be are always very impressed and excited by them.

When I make my Little Remedies gift basket, I do a little something like this:

Little Remedies Gift Basket

I buy a cute bucket to put everything into.  The bucket also doubles as a “sick bucket” for little kids.  Perfect!

Other items that can be included in this gift basket are a thermometer, nasal aspirator, tissues, a stuffed animal, cute bandages – really anything you think might be good to have on hand for a sick baby.

If you bring this gift basket to a baby shower, I guarantee it will be a huge hit!
