This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of GoDaddy. All opinions are 100% mine.

Being a small business owner can be a very hard, demanding job.  While I don’t have a business that requires me to rent an office space or hire employees, I do put a lot of long hours into my blog.

My blog is my business, and I take it very seriously.  I am a stay-at-home Mom, so I use my blog to earn a bit of income from home, to help out with bills, and to have some fun spending money.  Most of the time blogging is a really fun job, but it’s not always easy.  I stay up late quite often trying to get work done, so that I can spend more time with my daughter, Kayleigh, during the day.

There’s so much to keeping up with a blog, and it can often times be overwhelming.  There’s applying for blog opportunities, finding inspiration for posts, cooking up a recipe, or making a craft, taking and editing photographs, typing up the actual post, sharing the post on all of my social media sites, hosting giveaways, checking and responding to e-mails.  The list goes on and on and on.  I’m tired just thinking about all of that.

In order for me to keep up with my blog and everything it demands, there are 3 things that I just can’t live without:

3 Things I Can’t Live Without as a Small Business Owner

1.  Access to e-mail at home and on the go. I check my e-mail several times throughout the day.  Often times blog opportunities will come in with really fast deadlines to apply.  If I don’t see them in time, I could miss out on potential income.  It’s really important for me to be able to check my e-mail from home, and during those times when I can’t be at home all day, too.

2.  A reliable calendar.  I have so many campaigns that I am working on all the time, that I would not be able to keep them straight without a reliable calendar.  I need to stay on top of my posting deadlines.  If I ever were to miss a deadline, I could be removed from the network, and miss out on future opportunities.

3.  An easy to use word processing software.  It’s hard for me to find the time to type up posts, so I like to be able to have access to a word processing program that will allow me to type up draft posts whenever I have a free moment.  It has to be easy to use, too.

I have been using Microsoft Office 365 from GoDaddy for several months now, and I absolutely love it!  It offers me an all-in-one web app experience (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and more!) that I can use anytime and anywhere.  I can check my e-mail whenever I want to, and check my calendar, or make changes to it with Outlook.  I also use Word to type up draft blog posts whenever I have a free moment, or when inspiration strikes.  There are so many things that Microsoft Office 365 from GoDaddy has to offer.

Another great thing about Microsoft Office 365 from GoDaddy, is that you don’t have to be an IT genius to use it.  A lot of small business owners just don’t have the money to hire an IT consultant, so this is the perfect solution.  Microsoft Office 365 is super fast and easy to set up, and also gives you access to 24/7 expert support

Are you ready to try Microsoft Office 365 from GoDaddy yet??  Well, today’s your lucky day, because one Sincerely, Mindy reader is going to win Microsoft Office 365 from GoDaddy for one year (the Business Essentials plan) AND a one year domain registration, too!  This is truly an awesome prize!

  1. I am a SAHM and newbie blogger. I love to help others when it comes to prints. If my friends or family members need invites, flyers, brochures, etc… there I go to the rescue to create them so my friends don’t have to pay a ton to have nice prints! I also made birth announcements in my free time too! I would love to start a small business, but, of course I need the help of a great software. I used to have Office (a simple version of it) but my laptop died and I lost everything. Now I don’t have any software and winning this will make me really happy because I can start again! :)

    Thank you

  2. My husband and I have a Auto Repair business and Office 365 would really help us to manage our day to day operations more efficiently. A lot of our software is older and I would like to use a program that is more up to date. This would really help us with doing the invoicing and word processing part of our business office.

  3. I like the 24/7 support that it offers. I’d love to win this because I am starting a business this year and it would help immensely!
