Disclosure:  This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Coupons.com. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic.

Last week my grandmother gave me a photo album she had made for me when I was a kid.  It was really such a sweet gift, and something to cherish forever.  My fiance and I had a lot of fun looking through it.  There were lots of cute photos, and plenty of embarrassing ones, too!  We all have those photos from our childhood we’d rather forget about, right?!

With Easter coming up later this month, I couldn’t help but stop to look at all of the photos of me wearing an Easter dress.  These photos range from the year 1985 to 1990, and ages 3 to 8.  I recall dressing up for Easter Sunday every year, heading to church with my family, and getting up in front of the entire church to say a “peace”, which was usually a bible verse or short poem that somehow related to Easter.  I was always so nervous getting up in front of everyone.  I still don’t like to stand up in front of large crowds.

Seeing all of those Easter dresses got me thinking about my daughter Kayleigh’s Easter dress this year, and the dresses she will wear for years to come.  I want her to be able to look back on photos of herself on Easter, dressed up in beautiful dresses, celebrating the blessed holiday, and welcoming spring.

I want Kayleigh to have a beautiful Easter dress, but I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for it.  John and I are in the process of buying a new home right now, so finances are pretty tight right now.  Luckily, Kohl’s has some really great deals on pretty dresses, and on top of that, I found a coupon code at coupons.com, that will save me $10.00 on a $30+ Kids Apparel & Shoes purchase at Kohl’s through April 19th!  I’ll gladly take a $10.00 savings!

I think I’ve found the perfect Easter dress for Kayleigh!  I just love this one, and I think she will look absolutely adorable in it.

And of course, I can’t forget the shoes!  I think these will match very well.

  1. I would most likely use the Buy One, Get One 50% Off on Select Dressy Apparel for Easter for Target.com. because this year i believe our Easter and Greek Easter fall on the same day and this coupon code would be great to get the kids their Easter out fits. We usually go to midnight mass and dress up for our Easter and celebrate with a Greek Easter get together with the family.

  2. I would use the Kohl’s Save $10 Off $30+ Kid’s Apparel & Shoes! My kids can always use some nice spring clothes- especially for Easter!
