I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for OxiClean. I received three product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

I hope it doesn’t jinx us to say this, but I think John and I have FINALLY found THE HOUSE!  This is the FOURTH house we have put an offer on over the last 3 years, and probably the 100th house we have looked at.  Two of the houses we put an offer on fell through due to a failed inspection, and the homeowners of the third house would not budge at all on their asking price, and we just didn’t think it was worth that much.

We have a signed contract, and a tentative closing scheduled for May 1st!  Now, we just have to wait for it to pass inspection, and then hopefully everything else will go smoothly.  May 1st can’t come soon enough!!

It’s time for some spring cleaning!

Now that we have (hopefully) found a home to move into this spring, it’s time to do some spring cleaning.  We have accumulated a lot of stuff over the last couple of years, and I don’t want to move any more boxes than I have to.  So, it’s out with all the old stuff we no longer have any use for, including some of Kayleigh’s old clothes.

My sister has a daughter a couple months younger than Kayleigh, so I have been giving her a lot of the clothes that Kayleigh has outgrown.  I don’t want to give her anything with stains on it, though.  Who wants stained hand-me-downs?!  Instead of just tossing Kayleigh’s stained clothes out in the trash, I decided to try OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover on them.

OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover

Here’s a before photo of a white onesie that got some spinach on it.  Spinach is usually a very difficult stain to get out, but after soaking in a tub of OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover and water for a couple of hours, the stain is completely gone!

I also soaked one of John’s white shirts that had a set in stain of “I don’t know what” on it, and that came out too!

What I love most about OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover, is that it doesn’t have a harsh scent like bleach does.

 I’m a messy cook…

It’s no secret that I love to cook.  I cook a lot with olive oil and butter, and it has a tendency to splatter all over the place, including whatever I happen to be wearing.  I was so happy to find out that OxiClean had come out with a great new laundry detergent that penetrates fabrics and infuses clothes with three powerful stain-fighters and a clean, fresh scent.

OxiClean Laundry Detergent

The detergent’s stain-fighters can lift away complex stains, including, grass, oil, grease and red wine.  That’s great for a messy cook like me!  The OxiClean Laundry Detergent is available in liquid form and in time-saving detergent paks.  I love those little detergent paks, don’t you?!  Just toss them in, and you’re good to go!

I’m a lazy dish washer…

hate washing dishes.  It’s one of my very least favorite things to do in the entire world.  I had an apartment without a dishwasher once, and I just about died.  I have extra dry, sensitive skin, especially in the winter, and washing dishes is extremely rough on my hands.

I do have a dishwasher now, but I’m even lazy when it comes to that.  I hate rinsing off dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. If I wanted to take the time to rinse dishes off, I might as well just wash them, and well, I’m just not going to do that.

I am so lazy with the dishwasher, that if a dish doesn’t get clean the first, second, or even third run through the dishwasher, I will just leave it in there until it finally does come clean.  I recently had a few dishes in the dishwasher for several runs, and they were just not coming clean.  Thankfully, I received a bottle of OxiClean 4x Extreme Power Crystals, a powerful dishwasher detergent that breaks up food on dishes, and leaves dishwashers smelling fresh.

OxiClean 4x Extreme Power Crystals

This dishwasher detergent is so powerful, in fact, that you only have to fill the main cup up halfway.  Before using OxiClean 4x Extreme Power Crystals, I was filling both cups up to the top with dishwasher detergent, and my dishes were still not getting clean. After one time of using the OxiClean 4x Extreme Power Crystals, those dishes I had sitting in my dishwasher for weeks came clean. I couldn’t even believe it!  This stuff is POWERFUL!  The Power Crystals dissolve cloudy film and spots on dishware and lift away stains, even lipstick on cups and tomato stains on plastics!

Just look at how clean & spotless these dishes are!

OxiClean 4x Extreme Power Crystals are available in Fresh Clean and Lemon Clean scents, and in a convenient bottle or time-saving paks for a quick, mess-free clean!
