I am in love with my new Gordon Ramsay Dinnerware Set. I have never had a “nice” dinnerware set, until now. When I moved into my first apartment at age 19, I went to Ames Department Store (yes, it was still open at the time – that long ago!) and bought a really cheap set to get me by. Over time, some of the pieces broke, so I took hand me down pieces from friends and family. My dinnerware collection was a huge mess of mismatched plates, bowls and mugs. I was actually really embarrassed to have dinners at my house. Everyone would have a different plate, and the colors and designs did not go together at all.
For Christmas this year, my parents bought my sister and I each a 16 piece dinnerware set of our choice. Angela opted to go with this owl set from Rachel Ray, but I wanted something more timeless and “grown up”. I had a really hard time deciding what to get at first. Mom was eager to make the purchase and kept sending me links to sets that I didn’t like. I wanted something really neutral in color, with no wild and crazy designs on it. I wanted it to be simple and classy looking.
As we were leaving JC Penney Portrait Studio after having Kayleigh’s Christmas pictures done, Mom pointed out the Gordon Ramsay Maze 16 Piece Dinnerware Set that was on display. I was immediately drawn to it. I HAD to have it. It was everything I had been looking for.
I am so in love with this beautiful dinnerware set. It’s sturdy, but elegant at the same time. I love that the plates have a bit of a ridge on the edge, so your food won’t go sliding off if you should accidentally tip your plate a bit. The bowls are really wide and deep, and the smaller plates are a great size too. Now, I am actually proud to show off my dinnerware set!
