Jan 202014

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Smucker’s. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

I have been a long time fan of Smucker’s jams, but did you know that they also make a natural peanut butter?  I just recently found this out, and you better believe I’ll be heading to the store soon to pick up a jar.  We love peanut butter in this house!  From Pb&j sandwiches to peanut butter cookies – we go through quite a bit!  I also like to spread peanut butter on pine cones and then dip them in bird seed for the blue jays we have in our backyard.  Smucker’s is a brand I love, so I am very excited to try this peanut butter!

Another reason I’ll be heading to the store to pick up a jar of Smucker’s Natural Peanut Butter, is because Smucker’sLaura Scudder’s and Adams Natural Peanut Butter have teamed up to support the national parks through a $100,000 donation to the National Parks Conservation Association’s (NPCA) America’s Great Waters Program. Starting this month, look for the .25 cent-off coupons on shelves in your local stores towards the purchase of a jar of natural peanut butter. For every coupon redeemed by March 24, 2014, Smucker’s will donate $1 to the NPCA, up to an additional $50,000!

I am really excited about this program.  Along the Maine coast, we have Acadia National Park, which is just absolutely breathtaking. I have visited Acadia several times each summer for as long as I can remember.  I have so many wonderful memories of times spent hiking the trails, and soaking in the gorgeous ocean views.  We brought Kayleigh to Acadia last summer, but she was only a couple of months old.  I am really excited to bring her this year when she will be a year old.  I think we’ll have a great time, and I can’t wait to start making new memories with her!
