Hearing Kayleigh’s heartbeat for the very first time was one of the most exciting moments in my entire life.  There is just something so powerful about hearing your unborn baby’s heart beating inside you.  It brought tears to my eyes, and that’s when it really sank in for me that I was going to be a Mom to the little baby growing inside me.

John and I knew we would want to listen to Kayleigh’s heartbeat over and over again, so he brought his cell phone into the exam room with us, and recorded her heartbeat when the midwife located it with the doppler.  Now, I love listening to that video over and over again, still to this day, but when John took the recording, he focused in on my puffy, pregnant face.  That’s not something I want to see over and over again!

I recently heard about My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear, and just knew I had to have one!  With My Baby’s Hearbeat Bear, you can record your baby’s heartbeat inside an adorable teddy bear, or one of their other equally adorable stuffed animals.

They have a lot of animals to choose from, so you are sure to find one you love.  These would make excellent baby shower gifts, gifts for grandparents, holiday gifts, or even a gift for the baby to treasure when she is older.

We received a cute little puppy dog to put Kayleigh’s heartbeat into.  It was really easy to do.  We simply played the video John recorded on his cell phone into the recording device, placed it inside the puppy, and that was it!  Now we can listen to Kayleigh’s heartbeat over and over again by squeezing his tummy, and I can stare at his adorable little puppy dog face, instead of my puffy, pregnant face!

Isn’t he super sweet??  I just love him, and I know Kayleigh will too!

The tag on his ear  even has a place for you to write in the date and the baby’s heartbeat, making it even more special!
